F.Y.S.H. – FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AT HILLEL

First Year Students at Hillel, called by its acronym FYSH (fish), is a group for first year students who are new to Cal. FYSH programming is run by second and third year students on the FYN (First Year Network) committee who provide a fun, laid back and comfortable setting to meet other first year students as well as explore cool places in the Berkeley and San Francisco communities.

Activities include

• Welcome Week! Please click here for a calendar of exciting events this year at Hillel.
• A freshman retreat to the Marin Headlands every year at the beginning of fall semester
• Free Weekly dinners (every Thursday at 6:00 PM) - Good food, good people, good times!
• Fun trips around the San Francisco and Berkeley area (see weekly email or click here). Past trips have included: seeing a musical in downtown SF, eating ice cream at Fenton’s in Oakland and hiking to the “Big C” near campus to overlook the entire bay!

All first year students are invited, so bring your roommates and drop by during welcome week or every Thursday at 6 PM!
